Ponte della Libertà

3.85 km, opened 1933. Road and rail on the same causeway from Mestre into the lagoon. San Secondo sits off to the side. This is the last straight kilometre.

If you stop in Mestre you never join this road. If you join it, you choose the island or the square at the far end. There is no third ramp into the historic city.
