How you actually arrive
Plane to Tessera, then bus or Alilaguna to the square. Train to Santa Lucia on the island, or to Mestre on the mainland. Car over Ponte della Libertà, then island or square. Coach to the square. After any of those, you walk.

Terminal notice
Where the road stops
Venice is walked. Cars stop at Piazzale Roma or Tronchetto. This sheet sells no space and prints no tariff.
- Piazzale Roma. The Ponte della Libertà puts you on this square. Walking and boats start here. The Autorimessa Comunale sits on the square.
- Tronchetto. A made island west of the station, with a large covered garage. Campers use the open lots.
- People Mover. An elevated shuttle, a few minutes, from Tronchetto to the square.
- Ponte della Libertà. 3.85 km, 1933. Road and rail on the same causeway from Mestre.
Piazzale Roma is the only point private cars reach in the historic city. Multi-storey garages, municipal and private, sit on the square. The city garage is the Autorimessa Comunale.
For Tronchetto, take the right branch before Piazzale Roma. The People Mover ride to the square takes a couple of minutes. Public boats also call at Tronchetto.
Campers and tall vehicles use the open lots on Tronchetto rather than the tight ramps at the square. Night garages stay open later than the street. Height limits sit on the signs at the ramp. The sheet does not print a number that will age.
Mestre holds mainland rail and more garage space if you stop before the lagoon. Ponte della Libertà is 3.85 km long, opened 1933, road and rail on the same causeway.

Height limits and night opening sit with the garage you pick. Official terms for the Tronchetto garage sit with the operator.
